Google in trouble because of “did you mean:”

Johannes Beus
At the moment, the feature through which Google is offering alternative searchqueries (“did you mean: new-searchquery”), which has been active since 2004, is under fire. During a search for the brandname of the company “Servercheck”, Google is allegedly suggesting “Servercheck Crack” which would mean they are suggesting the possibility of the circumvention of copy-protection-mechanisms. Google did not react to a complaint by Servercheck so now this matter is going to court.
