Google Bombing – it seems that Journalists are fond of this term. It sounds so much like the depth of the Internet and at the same time like war. Seemingly perfect if you get to the office in the morning and have no idea what to produce for the day. Fitting the elections for congress in the USA, Spiegel Online's Christian Stöcker has fabricated a report around the commentary. From a petty Blogger-initiative in the USA (Blog *buzz* to the ancient “miserable failure”-affair (2003) and Spreeblick with Jamba, it seems that he threw everything together that could be found with a quick Internet search on the topic. Maybe the Spiegel should also get a t-online-subdomain – content wise they do not make much of a difference to the Bild anymore.
