It seems that Google lost the google.de domain for a short time. At the moment the Denic entry still lists a domain merchant from Wiesbaden as domain owner – the name servers are once again set back to Google's own. Though during the night from Monday to Tuesday, many surfers saw a site by the domain host Goneo which conveyed that no files were deposited for the requested domain.
This case reminds us of the ebay.de takeover of 2004. Back then a provider-chance-request was granted and the domain got transferred to a private individual. If something similar was the case for google.de should be revealed in the next few days – in the meanwhile, the domain merchant should be irritated that he did not put any AdSense on the transition page ...
