Textbroker raises pricesJohannes Beus
Shortly after their start, the content broker Textbroker has announced that they are reworking the quality ratings of their authors and that they are going to noticeably raise the prices in some parts. In the future, the lowest qualitylevel on their five-tier evaluation-scale will be discontinued, the price for the second tier will be raised from 0,8 to 1,2 cent and for the third the increase will be from 1,1 to 1,5 cent per word. The prices for qualitylevels 4 and 5 will stay the same. This means an increase in price of around 50 and 36 percent, respectively – customers who have already deposited money are given until 02.20.2007 to deplete their balance at the old conditions, after that the new prices are in effect.I hope that this step will help Textbroker to raise the quality of their texts – including the lower tiers – so that negative wild shots can be avoided, seeing that, in the past, it were such wild-shots which were sadly casting a damning light on this idea. Sadly, this markup made Textbroker financially unappealing to me and I will deplete my balance by the deadline.
