With Pipes, Yahoo is offering a service which can connect and mix data-feeds (RSS, XML, etc). The name “Pipes” is supposed to show similarities to the Unix tool by the same name – with it you can combine nearly all in- and output of shell commands. For this, Yahoo's onlineversion provides an editor which is comprised of rather far reaching possibilities of data-evaluation and -alteration. An interesting Tool that shows that there are still people working over at Yahoo and that they are not only buying up innovative ideas.
