When the past becomes embarrassing

In connection with one of our projects, today I received an E-mail from ReputationDefender. In it was the request to remove an article that a customer of theirs had left quite a while ago. It is obvious that, today, his past behavior is embarrassing to him and maybe even an obstacle for job-applications – the percentage or HR-personnel who are looking up the names of applicants in searchengines is supposed to be considerably large already.

It is interesting which services around the field of findability of informations have already developed. It will probably be fascinating to see what happens once this Generation MySpace, YouTube and Knuddels grows up to an age where they have to go and find a job ...
