Craft-day

Tonight I was finally able to implement a few changes that I had wanted to include for some time. You are now finally able to create a free account. The advantage for the blog is that now you will get a cookie once after the login and that way you will not have to enter in your data again. Additionally you can upload a favicon, which will be displayed besides your name and you can get new comments send to you by e-mail. The actual reason behind doing this is the fact that I want to make some tools publicly available which either use a decent amount of resources, which necessitates a restricted access or whose process needs some time. For the first tool that needs an account, I have rewritten the already known generator for Sitemaps.org-XML-files. Now there is a neat administration for the created sitemaps. Newly added is the feature that every report, which is created with every sitemap, will now list duplicate pages – quite useful to find Duplicate Content that you might have missed. Here an example for W3C.de.
