Microsoft is showing backlinks again

After Microsoft deactivated the – qualitatively outstanding – backlink-display in March of this year, it seems that it is working once again: with “+link:http://www.example.org/” you get the backlinks for any URL. The database seems to have grown considerably in comparison to before the shut-off – it also seems, considering what the quality of the SERPs lets us assume from time to time, that Microsoft has not been sitting on their hands all this time. This style of query suggests however, that they have forgotten to plug a loophole rather than wanting to make these queries public again. The next few days will surely bring clarification.
