AdWords cease-and-dessist-cases now also in Germany

After the Louis Vuitton case in France, we now also have the first legal ruling on Google AdWords here in Germany. Preispiraten.de sued Google in the Hamburg regional court because they showed an ad for Preisserver.de – a knock-off off the Preispiraten-tool – for the keyword “Preispiraten”. Noncompliance with this ruling could get Google a fine of 250.000 Euros or 6 month in jail.
