Google drops sistrix.de from the indexJohannes Beus
It seems that tonight, according to our tracking-tools at exactly 01:33:07 am, Google has seemingly thrown our whole domain out of the index. The corresponding site-query has just confirmed this:![]() An additional test on other datacenters has not changed this fact – sistrix.de is not to be found in the Google-index anymore. While I was unaware of any wrongdoings, I certainly still checked the Google Webmastertools to see if Google had left any messages through this channel of communication between the siteoperators and Google. There, I actually found a confirmation for the deletion of the whole domain: ![]() Personally, I think the explanation that Google gives is quite interesting: “Reason: The URL(s) contain informations that are suitable of causing lasting manipulations and harm to Google's Algorithms as well as those of affiliated searchengines.”. At the moment, I am pondering whether to abandon the blog altogether, delete all the old postings and then file a reconsideration request. While this is not an easy step for me to take, this is probably the only solution for this situation due to the monopolistic position of the searchenginegiant. Comments & Trackbacks1

So what exactly did you do to be booted from the index? Bad (paid) links?
