The German SMX (Search Marketing Expo) is being held in Munich today and tomorrow. For a select few attendants, the event was already rung in last night with Microsoft's „Let's Face it – Live Search up close“ event. There, Live Search director Stefan Weitz presented some interesting numbers and evaluations, which was followed by a discussion on what Microsoft could change in order to increase their not-so-significant European market-share. The three technology-centers that they are setting up in Munich, Paris and London at the moment are certainly a step in the right direction.
The SeoFM/Webmaster on the Roof will air live from the SMX today. Beginning at 4pm, for two hours, Rand Fishkin, Bob Rains, Fridaynite, Mediadonis and I will be discussing such subjects as “Black Hat 2009 – The legal limits of SEO” or the best linkbaits of the recent past.
