Local Search in Germany: Google aggregates its own data

Johannes Beus
Up until now, Google resorted to data from third parties to generate the database for the local search, now it seems that they are proceeding to aggregate the data themselves. Thanks to this, today I got a flyer from Google in the mail which asked me to check my listed informations and expand them. The flyer is personalized with company name and a password so that you can start right away. It seems that the, up until now, rather quiet market for local searches in Germany is slowly gaining momentum.
