The SISTRIX Toolbox API offers automated, machine-appropriate access to the bulk of available data. The access to the API is via HTTP, while the response will be returned as XML.
All queries and responses use the UTF-8 encoding. API-keyAuthentication is ensured by transmitting an API-key. This key can be requested on the following page and is usually generated within a short time:https://tools.sistrix.de/account/api
You are required to transmit this API-key for each query through the "api_key" parameter. If you fail to do so, or should the API-key be invalid, you will get a "001" error-code in return. Credit-systemThe use of the API will deduct credits from the credit-balance on your account, depending on the type of query. The credit-cost varies by method and is included in the description page for the individual methods. Your credit-balance is reset each Sunday night. Each subscribed Toolbox-module adds 10.000 credits to your account-balance. Unused credits do not roll over from the previous week.You are also able to query your remainding credits by using the following: http://api.sistrix.net/credits?api_key=$key
Country-selectionIf you do not specifically choose a specific country for a query, we will return the values belonging to the Toolbox-data for Germany. Additional countries can be used by adding a "country"-parameter to your queries.http://api.sistrix.net/xzy?country=$country
