Monitoring is one of the most important tasks as far as searchengine-optimization is concerned. Be it either values on the page itself like the domain-popularity or the positioning in the Google-SERPs, complete with the relevant keyword-combinations: Monitoring is the foundation on which you decide which measures you plan on taking on your site with regard to online-marketing.
On the following pages we will give you an overview of the different functions that the Monitoring-Module has to offer. Now we will start a step-by-step explanation of all the current possibilities that the monitoring-module has to offer as well as what you should keep in mind when setting up projects. Monitoring-Module HomepageOnce you log-in at https://tools.sistrix.de/monitoring/ you will see that this module is ordered by projects, which then have different folders.You can either click on the in each project-box or use the right hand navigation to go to the overview-page for that folder. On the navigation to the right you are also able to link directly into each aspect of the project.
On the project-overview page you will see the different folders with the queries you have set up and you can get a good idea if anything major happened right on this page. This means that you should ask yourself the following question before you set-up a new monitoring-query: Are you going to set up queries for multiple projects or domains? If the answer to this question is "yes" and you would like to use the "change"-feature on the projects-overview page, then it is quite helpful to note which project a query belongs to during the naming-process. For example: Should you test the positions of one and the same keyword for different domains, you could add the specific domain name or a shorthand to the query-description. |
