    Google is now offering the full version of their desktop-search for download. After five month of beta-testing, they added a developer-packet and support for the Firefox- and Netscape-browser.

The downside is that this means that there is no way to change the startpage in localized versions of the browser....

    Yahoo! celebrates their 10-year anniversary
    A long long time ago, as far as Internet-dimensions are concerned, Yahoo! started out as a hand-tended catalog. It was one of the first sites that categorized the quickly growing number of Internet-pages. Spiegel Online (Deutsch) as well as Wired (English) both have interesting articles on the 10-year anniversary....
