The ai.topicresearch functions are built around a search keyword, which serves as the entry point for exploring how users phrase their needs around a subject across AI models like ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Gemini. For a given keyword, the topics behind it are surfaced and enriched with metrics such as search volume, dialog length, intent and customer journey stage. Use ai.topicresearch.overview for the
aggregated picture of a keyword (number of topics, average dialog length, and the distribution across journey stages and intent groups), ai.topicresearch.list to retrieve the individual topics, and ai.topicresearch.topic to drill into a single topic in full detail, including its strategy fields (buyer persona, emotional driver, next best action) and the ready-to-use prompt library grouped per AI model.
Each topic returned by ai.topicresearch.list carries a topic_label that is passed as the topic parameter to ai.topicresearch.topic.
